Alaskan Adventure -July 1 and July 2, 2014 - Central Mission Assembly of God Church

Rain Rain and more Rain. Could be the title to a song here in Fairbanks.

    Puddles of Rain.

But before the two days of solid rain...........................

................................. all hands were busy at work.

That is one heavy beam!!

Is this what is called, "walking the dog"?   No. "walking the beam"!

On the count of three..  One, two, three, up!

It's a good thing the parking lot was cleaned before all the rains came.  Joyce did a great job.

What do we do when it rains you ask?

Well,

We just can't keep Arlen from painting.

He must have been born with a paint brush in his hand.  I think he was anxious to paint!

Al plans.

We make hats.  Joyce and Ginger are way ahead of me.

I have only finished two to their five each.  Maybe I'll catch up.  We are leaving the hats here for anyone that needs them.

Glenn finally gets his fingers looked at after nailing them together.  He didn't want his picture taken, but it is all apart of the story.

Our sisters in Christ

These ladies are wonderful cooks.

Moosook, Synnyo, and Yong Mi.  These ladies are amazing.

Synnyo says Glenn will lose weight if he follows her 6 meals a day and no cheating.

Here are pictures of the gathering after church on Sunday.  We all are fed on Sunday, spiritually and physically.

  The dining room.

  The kitchen.

To be continued.....after the rain.

  3. Kelly, the hats are for anyone that may need one. Or, there is a lady here in the church that is the Principal to a few remote schools, and she can take them to the children there.
