Good by Branson

Tomorrow morning we leave this beautiful, fun filled Branson.  We have enjoyed our week here but now it is time to head to IN.

We have had a beautiful camp site here at Baxter.  Baxter is one of many Corps of Engineer campground around Table Rock Lake. Today we visited a few other Corps campgrounds, but in our opinion, Baxter is prettier and has been recently upgraded.

We have seen a few shows, and visited Silver Dollar City.  Some exciting and somewhat daring things we did was to get on the new roller coaster at SDC. The Outlaw. A huge wooden coaster that turns upside down three times. Still don't know how Glenn got me on that thing, but, it was exciting! ( I thought we were standing in line for a much smaller coaster).

I have wanted to do a zip line for a long time, and I got my chance from the tower at Shephard of the Hills. Fun, fun, fun!

Here are a few pictures of our camp and the view from our RV door.

Camp Eagle Rock

We arrived at Camp Eagle Rock, MO on June 4, 2013 for another MAPS RV work station.  The area is very pretty.  I have always loved the Ozarks!  We were the only RVer there and they need a lot of help.  Brian and Elisa Poe are the managers and we came to love them both.  We left on June 14, 2013 to attend a family reunion.

Here are a few pictures of Camp Eagle Rock which is now a rentable resort called Eagles Resort.

A group of girls campers enjoyed the wall and zip line.

There is a lot of work to be done at Camp Eagle Rock - Eagles Resort.  We will be back to help in the near future.  Hopefully many more will come to help a wonderful couple, Brian and Elisa Poe.

Celebrations

While visiting our daughter's family we celebrated a 1st birthday. We also attended our granddaughter's and grandson's piano recital. We had a lovely visit. Grandchildren are my joy.
