Adventures With Ruby

We found a beautiful little BLM camp ground on the Sixes River.

Our neighbors were a sweet and friendly couple from Coos Bay. We enjoyed a couple of nights sitting by the campfire with them.

We visited the Light House and the Hughes House at Port Orford. The most westernly point in the continental US. The Hughes House  is a beautiful Victorian house. Here are a few pics.

Loved the parlor room.

The old kitchen wood burning stove was impressive.

I have an old ironing board like this. It was Glenn's mother's.
I love the way they displayed the vintage clothes.

We walked up the 64 steps to the top of the Cape Blanco Lighthouse.   The views were beautiful.  History of the Lighthouse can be found in the link.
