Alaskan Adventure

On June 18, 2014, we started our Alaskan adventure with our friends from Indiana.  We are going to build a building at an Assemblies of God Korean church in Fairbanks.

Here we are ready to load on the bus.  We are flying out of Indianapolis to Chicago....it was cheaper that way.

After a weather delay we finally made it to Chicago. We were concerned that we might miss our connecting flight but all flights were delayed.  

    Here we go on our 5 1/2 hour flight to Fairbanks.

The people here have welcomed us royally.

Arlen and Ginger and us are staying in a two bedroom apartment.  

Livingroom, dining room and kitchen combo.

There is one bathroom downstairs and two bedrooms and bath upstairs.

Al and Joyce have a room and bath at the church.  The church use to be a hotel and was converted to a church with some additional renovation.  

These ladies are so cute.  We love them already.

We were all invited to go to an Asian Bistro to eat lunch.  It was very delicious.

Synnyo helped us order.   And no MSG.... Synnyo made sure.
