Alaskan Adventure - June 27, 2014 - Central Mission Assembly of God Church

Today started out as a pretty day.  The sun shone brightly in the morning, but soon the rain clouds rolled in.  However, work continued. The church hired a few young men to help.  Their strength was greatly appreciated.

    More walls were built.

Dirt pile is gone, and more lumber delivered.

   Installing the headers.

View from above as you can see, more walls built.

There were not many pictures taken today.  Mostly we just tried to stay out of the guys way and let them work.  The progress may not be as visible as in the early part of the week, but the men have been working hard.  Rain has been a little bit of a hinderance.

This evening, we went bowling.

Night Bowling.
This was the first darkness since arriving in Fairbanks!

Arlen, That is one bright shirt under all the black light.

Alaska facts:

Alaska is a geographical marvel. When a scale map of Alaska is superimposed on a map of the 48 lower states, Alaska extends from coast to coast.
