Christmas At Disney.

We traveled to the Orlando area to spend Christmas with family. We parked at Winter Garden RV Resort because it was close to Disney and because we could not get reservations at Fort Wilderness. Our oldest daughter and family were camped at Fort Wilderness and our youngest daughter came to stay with us so that we all could be together.

When we arrived, it was pile on PaPa day.

We were able to be there for the golf cart parade. What fun!

There were some really great entries. Our favorites were the train and the castle.

We went on the boat and tram to go hotel hopping to see the Christmas decorations.

     Love that little face.

We visited the Wilderness Lodge and the Floridian. I saw the Teddy Bear Lady at the Floridian.  I would have loved to talk with her.

On Christmas Eve we exchanged gifts.

Children patiently waiting. It is our tradition to read the Christmas Story before gifts. After all, Jesus is the reason we celebrate Christmas.  And we want to honor Him first.

Someone got a Princess dress and shoes. She wanted to wear it all the time.
She is truly a Little Princess.

One evening we went to view the RV Rigs decorated.

   My favorite.

Of course there were plenty of Mickeys and Minnie's.

And fireworks...

What would a visit be to Disney without visiting a park....

THE SHOWS

We had a good time watching the kids have fun. But I cannot let this post go without thanking the Lord for the recovery of a lost wallet.  My daughter discovered she did not have her wallet with her drivers license and credit card after she got off the tram while leaving Animal Kingdom. She got back on the tram while I waited with the kids. We prayed she would find it.  Some honest soul had turned it in to Lost and Found. Thank the Lord. Miracles do happen when we trust in God.

Before we all parted we celebrated a birthday. On Jan 6 our sweet granddaughter celebrates her eleventh birthday.  Since we won't all be together, we wanted to celebrate early.

We had a great time with family!!

Now it is back to Miami to our MAPS project.
