Miami 2014 - Demolition Week Three

This is Christmas week. Actually week four here at Trinity Church.  Most RVers have gone home for Christmas and today we travel to Orlando (Disney) to meet up with our family.

I took a few pictures of the work last week that I will share.  Tearing out walls and floors continued.  The restrooms are a priority. The restrooms were in need of updating but also reconfigured to make way for enlarging a long hallway.

Breaking up tile an concrete requires protection.

This is a small space off the restrooms that will have a wash sink for the janitors.

After the new year, I suspect the new walls will go up.  I believe the walls will be tiled and of course, the floors.

A new wall has been started in the large room.

The space to the left of the newly constructed wall will be a break room.

The large room will be a nursery and classrooms.

The post marks where the new wall will be to enlarge the hallway.

Before some MAPers left for Christmas, we had our Christmas dinner party out under our gathering place.

Glenn cooked a trashcan turkey. Royal Ranger style.

Cobblers are in the Dutch ovens.

The turkey was delicious and juicy!

The cobblers were great too. Peach and Blueberry.

We had a wonderful array of side dishes.

Joyce made strawberry santa's. They were so cute.

Joyce also made the veggie tree. Very pretty.

    Our Christmas tree.

We exchanged elephant gifts.  I know the game as Dirty Santa where you can take a gift if you want it instead of opening a new gift.

     We invited a few guest.

Dave and his family.

Chevon visited too but I failed to get a picture.  Last year he made us Curry chicken..

We even had a little furry visitor.
    Snickers is well behaved.

Before the week was out most had left for Christmas but Glenn and I and Stephanie and Gary set out to find some Christmas lights.

    Stephanie and Gary.  New MAPers.

On Saturday evening Glenn and I took a cruise around Millionare Row.

Miami sunsets are beautiful.

               MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL!
