Chattanooga, TN

Chattanooga Cho Cho

Today we had planned to go to a ZipLine on Lookout Mountain, but since it is a rainy day, we opted for a trip to the famed Chattanooga Cho Cho.  As a side note; The Chattanooga Cho Cho song always reminds me of my grandfather, Poppy, who worked on the Santa Fe Railroad.  He had a vinyl recording of the song and as a child I loved to listen to it.
Here are a few pictures of the old railroad station that is now shops, restaurants, hotel and museum.









The train boxcars have been converted to  hotel rooms.
















The train station itself is an elegant hotel.
