Journey Church, Lowell, IN

On  Friday, we were so happy to see the trucks roll in hauling the church metal building materials. The building was delayed by weather and other situations but now we are full steam ahead.

Here are a few views of the first walls.

Our guys had already constructed most of the inside walls and are anxious to start putting them up.

On Friday evening we went to a cookout at one of the church members property. We had a real nice time complete with a hayride. But the highlight was an obstacle course where we drove a razor four wheel vehicle. The driver is blindfolded and the passenger is the navigator; telling the driver how to maneuver through the course.  The course is lined with orange tape and bails of hay.  It was hilarious. I was the navigator while Glenn drove. The only problem was that Glenn would not give it gas. We went at a snails pace. It was a timed course. We won at being the slowest.

Al and Joyce did it too. We laughed and laughed.

On one trip, I drove and Joyce was my navigator.

We had a blast.

On Saturday we all went out to breakfast then visited Hamstra Gardens. (Al's sister's place). So beautiful!!

We all had to climb the tree house.

It was a fun day.
