Heading Home After 23 Weeks, May 8, 2015, at Trinity Church, Miami

The renovation is not complete, but we must head for home Monday, May 11.  We have enjoyed our time here at Trinity Church, Miami.  And, if you have followed my blog, you will know that this project was a huge endeavor.  Since my last blog, there has been a little more progress. The school area has been a priority of late.

         A suspended ceiling was hung.

Some of the walls have been painted.

        Ceiling tiles painted and hung.

Blue and green classroom.

Another blue and green classroom.

This classroom has green walls and orange ceiling tiles.

Purple and orange classroom.  Remember, these are kid classrooms.
I'm sure they will love the colors.

And as you can see.....Lights installed!!

We were a little concerned that the walls were too dark for a child's classroom, but the lights made all the difference.

Glenn and Al made cubbies for each classroom. They look so nice.

These pictures are a view of the kitchen/lunchroom area. The tiles are a mixture of blue, orange and red.  The kitchen cabinets have been ordered.

SIDE NOTE.   The hired helper on the left is "Little Al". He gave his heart to the Lord at an afternoon prayer meeting here at the church this past week. We are praising God and keeping him in our prayers that he will continue to grow in the Lord. This is why we do what we do.  MAPS RV's motto is "Building Churches, Changing Lives".

After three tries, the door company finally sent the correct door.

For those readers that do not know, Glenn and I stayed mainly to help Joyce and to continue to help Al on the construction.  Joyce had knee replacement surgery and I wanted to be here to help her as best I could. She is doing very well. She has not been released to drive as yet, so it's is three times a week to therapy.  But we have had fun exploring the area, North Beach.

This shopping mall was slightly (ha ha) out of our price range but it was beautifully decorated.

This pic is especially for Laqueta. She loved the trees here. Actually, we all do.

On this day, Joyce was walking so good that her bandage fell down. We laughed.

One evening, we all went to the Marlins game.

We had great seats.

The Phillies were in town but the Marlins won!

Just the four of us but we still managed to pull a meal together.

Then there was the day Al broke poor tiger. But Annalee had fun!!

We will surely miss our friends.
