MAPS RV Project - Teen Challenge, Dublin, GA - Feb 1 - 7

The Dublin newspaper, The Courier Herald,  had a nice article on the Teen Challenge project. We landed on the front page. I just love small town newspapers.

Many changes occurred this past week.

The building that will house the administrative offices got a new front.

Meanwhile, work is ongoing inside too.

The electricians have been busy in all areas of the project.

    Sheetrock going up.

    OSB going up.

The old admin building that is being made into bedrooms, showers, ect is coming right along too.

Lot of mudding going on. A big thank you to Roy!

 The shower room is painted!

A big thank you to Georgie!!

Jan works in the office but also helps Georgie paint.  Looking good girls!

Curtains coming down.  Room is getting fresh paint.

John and Ernie getting ready to lay tile. That is knee and backbreaking work. Thanks guys!!

Georgie is our go to lady to keep us busy painting too.

   Our drying racks.

On Wednesday's some of us ladies work at the Teen Challenge Thrift Store.

But, it wasn't all work and no play. We have fun at break.

And on Friday we have game night.

On Sunday's we attend Dexter Assembly of God.  Pastor Brad always bring a wonderful message.

This past Sunday we enjoyed a meal together after the morning service.

And of course what is the Super Bowl without a party.

We invited the guys to watch the game with us.  Not all of the students could join us but a few could.
