Week 13 - February 23-27 - Trinity Church, Miami

The Convoy of Hope truck pulled in this week to deliver food for Hope Jam, but.....more of that later.

Meanwhile, construction is coming right along.

The restrooms had to be finished for this weekend.  In conjunction with #HopeJam2015. Joyce Meyer is to be a guest speaker on Sunday, so it was a push to get the restrooms ready.

  Al building counters.

Glenn and Jack installing the partitions.

Bill working on the counters too.

   Faucets installed.

     Hand dryers installed.

    Les working on the lights.

Jack working on some finishing adjustments.

John and Mary finished up the tile in the restrooms.

In other parts of the church some were painting doors.

   Jan scrapping paint and....

   ....painting.

    Georgie.

LaQueta helping Ron with the electrical.

Sheetrock taping or maybe it is mudding.

    Floor sanding.

Many hands working this week. Not only on the regular construction but others preparing for #HopeJam2015!

HopeJam is an outreach to the community. The church has provided for a Saturday of free groceries giveaway, free dental, free haircuts, fun for the children, Salvation ministry and baptizing. An array of activities of fun, music and food.

Yesterday we helped bag 5000 bags of groceries.

    Pallets of bagged food.

Tents were being set up in the large parking lot today and yesterday.

A sound stage was being set up in front of our RV area today.

    View outside my Montana window.

It has been a busy, busy week but we still managed to have our Thursday date night at a wonderful Mexican restaurant.

    Three Amigos!

    The gals.

The guys.  (Thanks Jan, I "stole" your pics off FB).

We even surprised Ted with an early birthday!

Someone wanted a taste of dessert. But I'm not telling who. Haha

Tomorrow is going to be busy again, but fun!  #HopeJam2015.
