Trinity Church - Valentine Week

Today is Friday and the men have come a long way since the last time I posted.

The small cafe and small storage kitchen area is now opened up to make the North entrance larger.

Now the North entrance is opened up to the Sanctuary and the South entrance.

The yellow wall and door is the elevator.  Sanctuary is to the left and overflow room.

There have been a lot more sheetrock going up this past week.

    Hallway to the children's area.

The ramp will have a guard installed very soon. But the walls are looking good.

Childern's space.

Nursery area for babies and toddlers.

To the left at the end of the this hall, (looking from this angle) is the Sanctuary and South entrance and elevator.  To the right is the hall leading to the bigger kids space.

Hallway.  Childern's area on the left from this angle. Lots and lots of sheetrock!!  Also, looking from this angle is the Sanctuary and elevator. The partitions will come down, but right now they are up for safety

To the left of the exposed pole is the expanded hallway leading past the babies/toddler nursery, Wilkerson chapel, to the North entrance.

Numerous hours have been logged since December and numerous more to be worked.   This project will continue until end of March and probably beyond.

We have had a fun time with our wonderful group.

Pre Valentine cruise and dinner show on the Jungle Queen was very enjoyable and delicious. I would highly recommend.

Joyce (the best social director) getting our tickets.

   All aboard!!

Hi!!  Boni and Dennis, we miss you!!

The after dinner show was so funny. We loved this little old guy.

The scenery was beautiful.

Honey, can I have a yacht for Valentinee's?!     Guess NOT.

FOOD!!  Did I mention food?  The freezer at the church quit working and there were turkeys that we're going to be thrown out. So, Glenn and  Chevon had the big ovens going in no time.  Did we have a feast!  I still have turkey. They cooked 15 turkeys!

After work, we gather under our gathering space to relax a bit and chat.  Some days we have a little bit of leviety.

Joyce served up some smoothies. Hawaiian style.

Hula anyone?  We do have fun!
