Alaskan Adventure - July 31, 2014 - Central Mission Assembly of God Church

Yesterday and today were beautiful days in Fairbanks, Alaska.

Ron was able to get the electrical pole wired and ready for the city to do their part in providing electricity.

Arlen and Troy worked on the outside, putting up insulation.  One side is complete.

Glenn helping Troy cut some vinyl.

Troy is a good worker and willing to learn.

The ladies, Synnyo, Moosook, and Young Mi worked in the kitchen making egg rolls as a fund project.
The egg rolls are delicious!
They take pre orders for the egg rolls and use the proceeds for the building.

The egg rolls are made up of finely chopped cabbage, carrots, garlic, Ginger and browned ground beef held together with olive oil then rolled into a pastry with an egg wash to secure pastry.   The rolls are deep fried, cooled off a bit, then deep fried again to make crispy.

I don't remember the number of egg rolls they prepared, but I know they were busy all day.  For some reason 300 sticks in my head.  If this is not right, I will correct.
