Home

We arrived "home" mid August and parked the rv at the Lott's Island RV Park.

We had planned to attend the MAPS RV convention but my doctors appointment interfered. I had a small skin cancer removed from right above my ankle.

While here, we were able to go to Dylan and Drew's football games.

We also got to attend Drew's band concert. He played four percussion instruments.

I loved the kettle drums.

One day we took the boys to a fun zone. We all had a great time.

I don't know why these pics are funky. I can't resize them. I think I need to search a different blog engine. Blogger is no longer user friendly.

We weathered a storm while here. Hurricane Michael. Even though it wasn't as bad as predicted here, we were glad we moved the rv away from trees and stayed with my brother and SIL. We had a nice time with David and Brenda.

We also went to the Greek festival with them. It was my first time even though I have lived in Savannah many years. The food was delicious and the music and traditional dancing fun to watch. I wish I had taken more pictures.

Our last Sunday here was Homecoming. It was nice seeing long time friends.

On a sad note, we had to put our sweet Zada Girl down. It was getting hard for her to breathe and xray showed an enlarged heart and a mass pressing on her heart. We miss our little girl.
