Journey Church, Lowell, IN

Several weeks have passed since my last blog and wow, what a transformation on the building. 

The company that put up the trusses, outside walls and roof finished this past Monday. It's really looking good. 

Our guys have been really working hard too; putting up the inside walls, electrical, plumbing and painting. 

   Sanctuary 

  One of the restrooms. The space on top is for the air conditioning/heating unit and storage. 

  Kitchen area. 

 Plumbing is coming right along. 

  Allan is our plumber. 

   A young man from the church is a great helper.

  Al, Glenn and I think Travis is on the lift. working on a door frame. 

   Arlen is spraying the primer on the ceiling. Careful Arlen....don't bump your head!!

 Yes Al, it is HOT. 

 

We have fun times too. This past week we celebrated Jan's birthday with a Hawaiian theme. 

We TP'd their rig and chairs. All in good fun. 

We also had a fun time at the Corn Festival. 

Al and Joyce's grand children live nearby and we spent some time with them. Al won a few prizes for them. 

That banana was taller than Caden. 

  Cameron choose a guitar. 

  Glenn was warned not to break it...
