Camping Trip On Hold

This time last year we were preparing for our 3 plus month RV trip.  This year we are not going to be able to go on any long extended trips. We plan to camp nearby and take our grandsons with us.  But, even that is on hold for a little longer.

Unbeknownst to us, while we were out West and in several storms, our camper suffered some storm damage.  Apparently the roof of the camper has some damage.  Glenn noticed one day that the flooring was separating and the outside wall was soft on the bedroom slide.  Off to Camping World we go and in their investigation to see what has caused damage, they discovered a small hole in the roof that has let water seep down the wall and caused the water damage.

Now we are waiting on the insurance company to see if they are going to pay for repair, or scrap our camper...boo hoo.    I really like my 5th wheel and don't want them to scrap it, but if they do, we are going to be very selective in what we get.  Some features that we would like to add to our already almost perfect floor plan and storage is a .....bath tub!!  In some that we have been looking at, does have a small tub.  Yea!!

We must have either our camper repaired or a 

new camper by the end of at least May.  The boys will be out of school and our 7th grandbaby will be born at the end of May or early June.  The plan is to camp near our Daughter and Son-in-Law so that we can help with the children.

But for now .... we just wait.
