I took a few pictures of the work last week that I will share. Tearing out walls and floors continued. The restrooms are a priority. The restrooms were in need of updating but also reconfigured to make way for enlarging a long hallway.
After the new year, I suspect the new walls will go up. I believe the walls will be tiled and of course, the floors.
A new wall has been started in the large room.
The large room will be a nursery and classrooms.
Before some MAPers left for Christmas, we had our Christmas dinner party out under our gathering place.
We had a wonderful array of side dishes.
Our Christmas tree.
We exchanged elephant gifts. I know the game as Dirty Santa where you can take a gift if you want it instead of opening a new gift.
We invited a few guest.
Dave and his family.
We even had a little furry visitor.
Before the week was out most had left for Christmas but Glenn and I and Stephanie and Gary set out to find some Christmas lights.
What a wonderful time you're having!! I love that you get to have Christmas with friends and Christmas with family AND serve so many all at the same time!! Have a very Happy Christmas!! Love you two!!
ReplyDeleteDaddy knows how to stack those dutch ovens! Trash can turkey looks delicious. The work the MAP'ers are doing is wonderful.
