First... A bit of levity....
Remember my question from the last blog post?
What is the difference between a Reindeer and a Caribou?
Santa says. "A reindeer can fly".
But my granddaughter (10 years old ) gave a more scientific answer....
Reindeer come from Siberia and come from a domestic breed, where Caribou is American and do not come from any domestic breed. She believes other than that one is just smaller occasionally due to them migrating farther. She believes they have the same hooves.
Smart girl!!!
Ok.. Now a report on the project.
They were faster than I could capture the different stages but as you can see, the boards are in place in preparation for the concrete.
Here they are digging the trenches for the underground plumbing. Some men of the church are helping too. There is James, Ray, and Ray's brother-in-law visiting from Korea. We call him the Professor.
Al and Arlen laying the plumbing.
Here James and Glenn are building door and window frames.
That is all the progress I captured. And that was only a half day.

The ladies have feed us all well. Today we had baked salmon, rice, and fresh spinach. All very delicious.
After supper time, I was able to get a few more pictures. The Lord has helped them accomplish much.
Foam board is laid down because of the extreme cold and then rebarb on top. Now ready for concrete.
In the mean time, walls were pre-fabricated.
It was a long day.......from sun up to sun down. Oh wait, this is in the "Land of the Midnight Sun".
We have not seen nighttime since we have been here!!!
Super Funny! "They Fly!" (the kiddos think you are crazy!)
