After leaving our camp at North American RV Park and Yurt Village near West Glacier, and after our adventure of hiking the road as far as they would allow and a white water rafting trip, we traveled to St. Mary and camped at a KOA. We drove into Glacier National Park on the St Mary side and it just happened to be the first day the road was open all the way. We drove up to Logan Pass and these were some of the sights we saw:
St. Mary Lake
Loved this waterfall. Note the yellow flowers.
Waterfall cutting through the rock.
Family. Glenn's brother Laurence, wife Sidney and
daughter Aisling
We had a great time traveling together.
Can you see the rain drops on the petals?
Amazing views of the mountains at every turn.
St. Mary Glacier
As we passed through a tunnel, we saw this mountain goat
strolling down the mountain road.
Walking past the truck, not minding us at all.
This ram was visiting the parking lot at Logan Pass.
We were invading his territory because
this was the first day that visitors could go to Logan Pass. They say
that this is late in the season to open up, but they had record snow.
We counted our self fortunate to get a great few of him.
Sidney got a great shot with her new camera.
There were so many great pictures, I wish I could have loaded more to the blog, But,... it is time for more adventures.....
