Just as our circle began to grow in December and January, our circle is beginning to get smaller within the next few weeks. As the winter snow gives way to spring flowers and warmer weather up north, we give our hugs and our goodbyes to our fellow MAPER friends. Three couples left our circle this past week.
Work is winding down but here are a few pictures from this past week..
The Kids Zone classrooms are getting their sheetrock walls. There are six classrooms plus restrooms.
Joining all the plumbing.
The foyer floors were polished and shined.
All the painted walls, trim and post are looking good.
On Thursday evening, we were treated to a Spaghetti Dinner prepared by Martha and Annabell. I think we are getting spoiled.
Sunday morning pictures...
This Sunday was the wonderful presentation of the play, Jesus of Nazareth. It was fantastic! And many souls were saved!!
The play opened with the birth of Jesus and the song "Mary Did You Know".
The Kings bearing gifts rode in on horses and of course, a camel.
Jesus riding in on a donkey.
Jesus crucified.
Resurrection!
Beautiful songs were sung throughout the play.
I have always loved the Easter season; maybe even more than Christmas. Maybe beause of the Spring flowers; maybe because of the warmer weather, but most importantly because of the Resurrection of Jesus Christ.
You've made such amazing progress!! The Easter Play looked like it was wonderful!! I'm with you Glenda, although I love the birth of the Saviour, I am particularly drawn to His resurrection and the knowledge we will be resurrected and live again as well.
ReplyDeleteWhere do you go next? Any chance the end of the summer will find you up here?
Love you!!
Thank you so much for being faithful to blog about the MAPS ministry! I am so glad I found you recently, as my husband and I believe God is calling us to serve in this ministry in a couple of years also. The more we see what this ministry does, the more the Holy Spirit fills our hearts with joy and anticipation at being able to serve the Lord as part of it someday!!
ReplyDeleteMay God continue to bless this ministry and those who serve in it!
Thanks Patricia for your comment. We do enjoy this ministry. We are able to travel, meet and work beside wonderful Christians and serve the Lord too. If you get a chance, go to the RV MAPS Convention in Carlinville, IL. This year it is October 3 - 8, 2015. It is a wonderful time when all the MAPERS gather together. Also, it would be a great time to checkout this ministry and/or, even sign up. Hope to meet you someday; maybe on a job. God bless. Glenda
ReplyDeleteSidney, thanks. You know us bloggers love comments. I tried to leave a comment on your blog yesterday but it just wouldn't post. I'll try again. Hope you are enjoying your missions ministry.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for the info on the Convention! It's in my calendar and we will definitely plan to go to it! I look forward to meeting you as well!
