Memorial Day 2013

We are spending a few days in NC visiting our daughter and family.  Today we went to Jordon Lake State Park.  Every year the family release balloons on Memorial Day in honor of fallen friends.  These special heros paid the ultimate price in Afganistan. I was honored to have met a couple of these special soldiers.

Mother's Day weekend

My brother and family from New York City are visiting this week. We always enjoy getting together, even tho it is few and far between visits.

We were so happy to get some of the cousins together but we surely missed my oldest daughter and her family.

We ate at a place called A J's Dockside at Tybee Island, GA. We were able to sit out at the dockside. Good food and with good company.

Sand sculptures

We are home for a couple of weeks then we will be pulling out again. But before we left FL, we took a day to go over to Clearwater to see the sand sculptures. It was a nice day together which is what I needed. Here are a few pics.
